Job Description
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in employee compensation and benefits
- Manage and reconcile employee attendance records, leave balances, and overtime calculations
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, including TDS and income tax filings
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to labor laws, PF, ESI, and other applicable regulations
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and labor regulations, and implement necessary changes in payroll and compliance processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and government authorities during audits and inspections
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, taxes, and statutory compliances, providing accurate and timely responses
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data security
- Support the HR team in various administrative tasks, such as onboarding, off boarding, and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in MS Excel
- Thorough understanding of tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory compliances
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
